Oooo. It’s starting to feel Christmas-y. dancersdancing’s Judith Garay showcases a new work called Extra Extra at the Firehall tonight and tomorrow at 8pm shows nightly. Check out the Firehall’s website for more info.

The always delightful Cellar Jazz Club goes flamenco tonight and tomorrow with local flamenco diva Rosario Ancer and co, tickets are $15 at the door.

Interested in classical Indian dance? The Shakti Dance School performs Bharata Natyam dance on Saturday at 2pm at Radha Yoga and Eatery on on Main Street; admission is by donation.

The lovely folks at New Works have another Dance Allsorts show on Sunday at 2 & 4pm at the Roundhouse. This time around, the Lorita Leung Dance Company will showcase a wide variety of Chinese dance, accompanied by the Panda Children’s Performing Group. Squee! Tickets for the 2pm show are pay-what-you-can, 4pm tickets are $10/$5 for kids.

On Wednesday night MACHiNENOiSY (man, that’s irritating to type) and Plastic Orchid Factory present duets from Lee Su-Feh and Fabrice Ramalingom, at the Firehall. Tickets $25, discounts for CADA member, society members and Firehall members.
