Love Lies Bleeding continues at the QET, as Ballet BC presents Alberta Ballet’s Elton John ballet. ELTON JOHN, people. I don’t think I can stress this enough. Tickets at ticketmaster.

Another show that opened yesterday and runs until Sunday? Tempus Fugitive, the latest from MACHiNENOiSY. At the Shadbolt in Burnaby. Information and tickets: shadboltcentre.com

Also ongoing ’til Sunday, 10 x 10 x 10, as part of the Dance Centre’s Global Dance Connections series. Ten composers, 10 choreographers, one show.

New Works and Vancouver Celebrates Diwali team up to present a rare intimate performance of traditional Kathak Dance, Sunday at the roundhouse. Featuring Toronto’s Bageshree Vaze, accompanied by live tabla music. 2pm, tickets at the door, or reserve them here.
