The Friday Round Up

One more week to go, just one more week to go… I don’t know about you but I cannot wait for Kidd Pivot’s The Tempest Replica!  It feels like we have been waiting for this forever. The show is selling out across Canada and the US.  Read a lovely review here from its run in Nova Scotia.  There are fewer than a dozen tickets left for the Friday performance–better availability for Saturday. Dance critic and writer Deborah Meyers explores Crystal’s role in the Vancouver contemporary dance scene and internationally, and examines her influences – and in turn, her influence of others. 7:30 pm SFU Woodwards, Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.

In other news, November 4  Menaka Thakkar Dance Company presents Prince Rama in the Wilderness at 2pm plus Shakti: an evening of classical & contemporary dance 7:30pm at the Evergreen Cultural Centre, Coquitlam. Tix
